Since my trip to New England last fall I’ve been on a hunt for that perfect rocking chair. These are not exactly what I had in mind but now I’m a bit curious to try these out to see how these forms function.

Wish I could tell you more about this artist. However, there are two things that I can relate: she starts her embroidery with her own illustrations and her work awes and inspires me.

I like to juxtaposition old with new images as in this "String" shelf system created by Swedish designer and architect, Nils "Nisse" Strinning. All the photos should be in color to really get a proper assessment but still it's good to see a great design stand the test of time.
