Can’t talk about Wycinanki, the Polish art of paper cutting without mentioning the works of Malgorzata Belkiewicz. Her cut-outs illustrate characteristics used primarily in the Kolbiel Region of Poland, distinguishable by the repetitive use of the rooster and doll folk motifs and the monochromatic coloring. Would certainly love to frame a few of these for my walls.
